Anyone who has looked at the pictures of the front of our house can see that we have an overgrown shrub issue. Nick came into town this weekend and we started taking out some of the more obnoxious ones. I can't believe the difference. It took us about an hour and half to remove the seven that lined the sidewalk to the front door. (In the rain and sleet, hard to believe it's mid April) I can't believe the improvement.

Since we were so speedy with that. We took down the ornate wallpaper that was peeling itself off of the dining room walls. From beige fleur-d-lis to charcoal gray and white, I love the new paint!!

Rain and sleet? I just turned on the AC because it's approaching 100 today.
